COLOURFUL cars can be spotted around Salisbury this week as driving schools support the city’s leg of a charity relay.

On Monday (November 12), the Children In Need Big Learner Relay stopped at Wilton House, as a Pudsey-inspired car top box (displaying the driving instructor’s name) was given to Salisbury driving schools. The official Pudsey top box has been transferred from car to car across the country since starting in Jersey on October 29, in hopes to raise money for Children in Need.

Salisbury driving schools drove in convoy sporting the top box to the next checkpoint which was in Warminster, with Sarah Hart Driving School as the leading car.

The relay will end at Silverstone Race Circuit on Friday, November 16, where the polka-dot cars will enjoy a couple of laps around the circuit to end the 3,000-mile adventure. In support of the relay, driving school cars have been decorated in personalised polka-dots.
