FREE music events will once again be filling pubs, clubs and other venues as part of Salisbury Live.

The event, which is organised by Colin Holton, takes place in May.

Colin said: “Salisbury Live 2019 promises to be as exciting as always with free spectacular stand-alone events along with the iconic two weekends of free music in pubs, clubs and venues in and around the city.”

The event launches on the May bank holiday Sunday (May 5) in the market square with music from Rolling Stones tribute band, The Stones. The launch runs from 3pm until 10.30pm.

This year also features The Acoustic Alliance on the two May Bank holiday Mondays (May 6 and 27). Running from 3pm -8pm these events, hosted by the Winchester Gate, will give singer/songwriters the opportunity to showcase their musical talents.

Salisbury Live 2019 is also planning to host a youth music project for budding song writers and performers.

Acts appearing this year include:

  • Subgiant
  • Sisteray
  • Break Cover
