EMERGENCY services were called to the centre of Salisbury to reports of a woman's safety at risk.
Police were called to New Street at around 11.20am today to deal with the incident, after a member of the public reported concern for the safety of a woman.
There was a heavy police presence at the scene and a section of Old George Mall and New Street was closed.
The incident has now been resolved and the woman has been taken to a place of safety.
The roads have now been reopened.
