BOTH Salisbury McDonald's restaurants will offer breakfast until 11am, as a 30 minute extension is being trialed in the South East.

115 restaurants in the South West, including those in Salisbury (Winchester Street and Southampton), Solstice Park in Amesbury and the A31 Picket Post will now offer breakfast until 11am, as they test customers reaction to the extended breakfast hours..

For the last six weeks, seven restaurants in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight have been trialling the extension which gives customers an extra 30 minutes to get their hands on a McMuffin.

Now 10 per cent of McDonald’s restaurants in the UK will be offering the extended breakfast and if successful, this could extend across the country later this year.

Currently across the UK and Ireland breakfast is served until 10:30am and has been for nearly 25 years.

But following the success of a pilot in seven restaurants, McDonald’s will now extend the trial further.

Customers will have to wait until 11am to get their hands on a Big Mac but the trial continues to see whether or not the public wants to see this rolled out across the UK and Ireland.
