FUNDRAISING efforts for the Stars Appeal continue throughout Salisbury, with money raised for the Breast Unit and the MRI Scanner Campaign, among other things.

Gary Davis and Graham Barker raised £2,357 earlier this year by growing their hair, dying it pink, and shaving it off, including their eyebrows.

This money will help towards the £10,000 the Stars Appeal need each year to keep the Stars Appeal Breast Unit the best it can possibly be for local breast cancer patients.

The Joint Helicopter Command have also donated £1,000 for the MRI scanner campaign.

They visited the charity earlier this week to have a tour of some of our Stars Appeal projects, and met with Lucy the Radiographer, who knows first hand just how much of a difference having a second MRI scanner will make to patients.
