A one-time Tennessee quarterback is in hot water for an off-field incident.

According to KOB 4’s Christina Rodriguez, New Mexico QB Sheriron Jones has been accused of exposing himself to a woman from his car on the university’s campus. Per Rodriguez, the woman told police that Jones drove past her several times. Her interaction with Jones led to the alleged indecent exposure:

A criminal complaint states that the woman asked the driver, “are you good?” and he replied, “no, can you give me 10 seconds.”

The woman said she approached the vehicle and noticed the man masturbating.

The woman told police she recognized Jones from posts on social media. The car seen in the surveillance video has license plates registered to Jones, according to the police.

The news comes the day after New Mexico coach Bob Davie announced that Jones was suspended indefinitely. Davie did not specify at the time why the quarterback was suspended.

Jones originally enrolled at Tennessee in June of 2015. He briefly transferred to Colorado in 2016, but returned to Tennessee, using an NCAA policy that allows student-athletes to transfer back within 14 days. Jones played in one game at UT during the 2016 season. He transferred from Tennessee in May 2017, landing at Mt. San Jacinto College before landing at New Mexico, where he has played the past two seasons.
