ROUNDUP: Winnacunnet falls to Concord on Senior Night

HAMPTON -- The Winnacunnet High School girls soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Concord on Senior Night on Tuesday.

Brenna Bushe scored for the Warriors, off an assist from Palen Kelly, but Winnacunnet dropped to 6-9 in Division I.

Winnacunnet saluted its four seniors -- Kyle Arsenault, Josie McDonough, Haley Blaisdel and Maggie Brand. Abby Rayder made nine saves in goal.

The Warriors wrap up the regular season at Portsmouth Friday.

Coe-Brown 4, Pelham 0

NORTHWOOD -- The Bears kept their Division II playoff hopes alive with the win, improving to 6-9.

Izzy Myers scored and picked up an assist, while Corinne Fernald, Morgan Burnap and Megan Edgecomb all scored goals. Sam Troy added an assist. Mackenzie Quick eared her fifth shutout of the season in goal, while Amelia Bracket, Lauren Curtin, Becca Scruton and Kendal Nester played well.

Merrimack Valley 1, Oyster River 0

PENACOOK -- The Bobcats saw their five-game win streak snapped by the Pride.

Oyster River finished the regular season at 9-6-1 and is hoping to be among the top eight in Division II and earn a home playoff game.

Merrimack Valley moved to 7-7-1 and has one game left.

VOLLEYBALL

York 3, Greely 1

YORK, Maine -- The Wildcats capped an 11-3 regular season in Class B with a win on Monday. Scores were 25-12, 25-17,19-25 and 25-9.

The Wildcats got strong play from senior setter Sophie Trafton setting and senior middle hitter Emma Parrotta. Junior Tamta Jologua's eight-point serving run helped seal the last set.
