FITCHBURG — Revolutionary Clinics has announced the launch of its wholesale brand strategy which includes a new umbrella brand, Licit Brands, for wholesale customers across the state.
The launch continues to support the growth of their state of the art cultivation facility, jobs for new light manufacturing, delivery and other ancillary businesses and signals the next phase in the evolution of the cannabis industry here.
Licit Brands includes 12 new distinctive product lines that are available throughout the commonwealth.
“We are excited to launch into our next phase of business development with our expanding wholesale strategy,” said Keith Cooper, CEO of Revolutionary Clinics. “Our wholesale product sales will allow us to share our amazing products with more people, create more jobs and support the resurgence of the old shoe manufacturing facility in Fitchburg.”
The new wholesale strategy will be lead through the launch of Licit Brands products. These products are cultivated and developed at the Revolutionary Clinics facility in Fitchburg. The state of the art cultivation site is the largest in the state with 140,000 square-feet currently being used for grow canopy and manufacturing – with more opportunity to expand into a full 250,000 square-foot campus.
“Revolutionary Clinics was the first marijuana cultivator my administration welcomed into our city. I am abundantly proud of the economic growth this facility has provided to our residents, the neighborhood, and the city,” said Mayor Stephen DiNatale. “It takes new industry, creative thinking, and a partner like Revolutionary Clinics to take a building of this stature and revitalize it back to its full potential.”
The Revolutionary Clinics cultivation facility was once a shoe factory that supplied brands like Brooks Brothers, Cole Haan, LL Bean, Harley Davidson among other popular footwear.
After being closed for many years, Revolutionary Clinics was able to repurpose the facility for cannabis cultivation and create 108 jobs.
In addition to providing jobs, Revolutionary Clinic has had a significant economic impact on the Fitchburg community. In the last three years, they have paid over $700,000 in tax revenue and continue to annually give $25,000 in charitable contributions to community partners.
Currently, Revolutionary Clinics is supplying 25 retail cannabis establishments with products and flower across the state. Many of these facilities would be unable to open their doors without the availability of products being available for wholesale from Revolutionary Clinics.
“As the first licensed general applicant, woman-owned and operated retailer, and social equity program participant operating in MA, having the product support from Revolutionary Clinics has been instrumental to the success of my small-growing business,” said Caroline Frankel, owner of Caroline’s Cannabis. “I am greatly appreciative of generosity that Revolutionary Clinics provided and continues to provide my store. We proudly sell Licit Brands, and my customers love them and ask for them by name.”
These products and others developed by Revolutionary Clinics are always available at their own medical dispensary locations in Somerville, and Cambridge.
