FITCHBURG — Saint Joseph’s Church is having its Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At this year’s fair there are several new events happening, including a performance by the Drawbridge Puppet Theater from Lunenburg. The theater will be putting on two marionette-style puppet shows for the kids. The performances are sponsored by IC Credit Union. The show is called “Santa and the Christmas Trolls.” The showtimes are at 10 a.m. and at 2:30 p.m. and admission is free. At both puppet shows, Santa Claus will be making an appearance and greeting all the kids and it is also free.

Another feature added this year is a free raffle every hour starting at 10 a.m.; so just show up, get a ticket and listen every hour to possibly win a prize. You must be present to win.

There is also the silent auction where tickets can be purchased to win prizes. Almost all of the prizes we are giving away, and the prizes on our silent auction table, are items that Fitchburg businesses have donated to the Christmas Fair.

Other items available at this year’s fair is a bake sale with great treats for sale. There will also be food and beverages for sale, including poutines, meat pies, a beer garden, and crafters with a variety of different crafts for sale.

There will also be games for the kids, theme baskets and a cash raffle sponsored by Workers Credit Union.

Saint Joseph’s Church is located at 49 Woodland St.
