Mother & Son duo caught for stealing goods over Rs 20,000 at NRL Quick Shoppe in Guwahati

Guwahati: One must have heard about the Bollywood film “Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri” starring Jackie Shroff, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor in the ’90s, well, here’s a different story but quite relevant to the plot of the movie. In this story, a Mother and Son duo who were caught live on CCTV Camera for stealing goods over Rs 20,000 from a store namely NRL Quick Shoppe in Guwahati.

Based on the CCTV footage, the manager of the Quick Shoppe caught the lady during their second attempt to steal goods from the same NRL store.

The Manager of the store informed that the first incident was reported on May 31st at around 9 pm when the duo stole items worth Rs 15,000. The second incident took place on June 4 when the lady was caught with goods worth Rs 7,000.

The matter was reported to Dispur Police station and was settled when the duo gave a written confession and paid for all the stolen goods. The duo hail from Bangalore and are from affluent family with a pharmaceutical business.
