Dispur Law College Student arrested in connection to theft in Guwahati

Guwahati: The Fancy Bazaar Outpost police on Friday arrested a LLB student at Dispur Law College and seized several stolen items from his possession.

As per a police report, the LLB student was identified as Harun Ali Rasid (23) is a resident of Boyasar Alga Pt-III under Bilasipara Police Station.

The boy has been forwarded to judicial custody in connection with Pan Bazaar Police Station case no 857/18 under section 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

It may also be mentioned that Police recovered 3 Laptops, 2 Mobile Phones, 25 numbers of State Bank of India ATM Cards, and 110 numbers of SIM cards from his possession.

Police also mentioned that the boy was staying as a tenant in a rented house at Hatigaon.
