Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre lift U-16 title

Guwahati: Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre (GCCC) lifted the U-16 Inter Coaching Centre Cricket tournament, organised by Navarang Club, defeating NF Railway SA by one run in the thrilling final at Judges’ Field on Thursday.

Losing the toss, GCCC 126 runs in allotted 30 overs losing 9 wickets. Vivek Saha scored 20 runs while Diwiz Pathak added 19. Paramjit Paul claimed 3 wickets for 12. In reply, NFRSA were bundled out for 125 in 29.2 overs. Rajveer Singh contributed 34 and Paramjit Paul added 22. Prince Thakur took 3 wickets for 15 in 5 overs. Prince was adjudged as the Man of the Final award.

Navarang Club president Rajib Prakesh Baruah gave away prizes in the closing ceremony which is informed by organising secretary Bapan Das.
