Jowai Mandal BJP President Resigns: Shillong

SHILLONG: In a major blow to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Paila K Lyngkot president Jowai Mandal has resigned from the party. Lyngkot said that the decision to resign from the party was not because he has anything against the party but due to personal reasons.

He said that despite resigning from the position of president of the BJP, he will continue to render his service to the public in any which way he can. Lyngkot also said that he will continue to work hard with an objective to bring about total development in Jowai Constituency.
