Arunachal Pradesh District gets LED Wall Screens

Itanagar: Namsai has become the second district in Arunachal Pradesh after Papumpare to get LED wall screens in public places which will display various programmes of the government and will help in dissemination of information to the people of the district.

Namsai MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom inaugurated two LED wall screens at Second Mile and Namsai club on Tuesday in the presence of deputy commissioner Dr Tapasya Raghav, Superintendent of Police Ankit Singh, administrative officers and head of departments, an official communique informed.

Namchoom termed it as an achievement on the part of the elected representatives of the district and administration for coming up with innovative ways to narrow down the gap between administration and general public.

The DC in her deliberation stated that she is optimistic that the LED walls would help in generating awareness in the district. The MLA also inaugurated a children’s park at Namsai.

The park has swings, slides, see-saws, spiral slides and other rides for children. It also has an open-air gym catering to the health enthusiasts of the district.

Namchoom stated that construction of such parks would create an atmosphere for health-conscious and active people in the district. The DC dwelt on the importance of creating such spaces to engage the public and children in physical activities which will encourage them to go in the right direction, the communique added.
