National People’s Party (NPP) forms Mawlai Block unit In Meghalaya

SHILLONG: The National People’s Party (NPP) on Saturday extended its roots in the capital city by constituting the NPP Mawlai Block at Mawlai constituency.

The National People’s Party also constituted the party Women’s Wing and Youth Wing at Mawlai in tge presence of NPP state president Dr. WR Kharluki, Working president of the party Dr. Donkupar War beside other leaders.

A number of people officially joined the National People’s Party and some of them are from different political parties.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Kharluki said, “It brings emence joy for me to have finally constituted the NPP Mawlai Block and I’m confident that in 2023 assembly polls the party will achieve absolute majority.”

He also said that the party will be victorious in the next MLA election from Mawlai constituency and across the entire state.

“Other national political parties their leaders are from other parts of the state however our party national president is from our own state of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma,” he said.

The state president also welcomed all the people of Mawlai who have taken the decision to join National People’s Party.
