Peter Bunzl visited Moreton Say and Adderley Church of England Primary schools, to coincide with pupils' study of his book Cogheart.

He led workshops with Year 5 and 6 pupils, told anecdotes about his work and signed copies of Cogheart.

Teacher Vicky Baillie at Moreton Say, who helped arrange the visit, said: "Peter came out and did workshops with the children where he talked about his books and the inspiration behind them.

"We did it through Bookfest, lots of schools took part. It was great for the children to meet with him, he shared some quite surprising things like the fact it took him three years to write Cogheart."
