The silver van came to rest on its roof in Marchamley Wood, near Tern Hill, at about 4.35pm on Wednesday, and three fire crews were sent from Hodnet, Prees and Wellington.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the driver had got out of the van by the time their crews arrived, and they made the scene safe.

Jamie Arrowsmith, of West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 4.46pm yesterday afternoon to Marchamley Farm after a report that a car was on its roof.

"An ambulance attended the scene where we assessed one patient. Following that assessment we were able to discharge the person at the scene."
