COLLEGE STATION - Texas A&M will head back to Kyle Field for the final time this season come Saturday. A win over South Carolina will put them at 7-3 on the year, guaranteeing the team will finish with an above .500 record for the second time in the Jimbo Fisher era.

The reality is, South Carolina's heartbreaking loss to Appalachian State should play in favor of the Aggies. A&M has also shined over the past three games at home, going 2-1 with their only loss coming to then top-ranked Alabama.

On one hand, some fans might be looking ahead to the schedule of Georgia and LSU. On the other, who truly is this South Carolina program? Early in the season, the Gamecocks held the Crimson Tide to a 24-10 lead at halftime thanks to a strong defensive performance.

The same team later would defeat Georgia in a double-overtime victory at Samford Stadium, yet lose to a struggling Tennessee roster by 20 points. Depending on their start could decide the end results in College Station this weekend.

Locked on Aggies, in partnership with Sports Illustrated's Aggie Maven, is here to continue our A&M daily coverage. On Wednesday's episode, we discuss some of the top storylines from Columbia and check in several players returning for Texas A&M.
