STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Emergency officials responded to a multiple-car crash on Arden Avenue in Annadale Monday afternoon.

One person was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze with minor injuries in the crash, which was reported at 3:10 p.m. on Arden near Edgegrove Avenue, according to an FDNY spokesman.

The NYPD, two tow trucks and two badly damaged cars were visible at the scene.
