The state of Gujarat is directly affected by the weather of northern states. Any change in the weather over the northern areas, and a direct effect is witnessed down west in the state. At present, winds from north are reaching the region.

In the last few days, Gujarat has seen some non-seasonal activities in the form of rains. Also, the state has been observing above normal minimum temperatures, touching 15°C. Now, a reversal in wind pattern is expected with northerly and northeasterly winds replacing the persisting warm winds. These winds will blow with a moderate speed of 15-25 kmph. With this, minimums are expected to drop.

Day temperatures will not see any major effect and the weather will remain pleasant in the daytime. Next reversal in winds is expected to occur January 29 onward before the weather sees a change yet again.
