Interview with Salt Lake City Stars Head Coach Martin Schiller

On this episode of the SLC Punks Podcast we had the pleasure of speaking with Salt Lake City Stars Head Coach Martin Schiller.

Coach Schiller, who recently won G-League Coach of the Month in December, shared his thoughts on the Stars winning season and how they’ve become one of the top teams in the G-League.

We also discussed some of the new additions to the G-League like the G-League showcase that the Stars recently won and whether he thinks a mid season tournament like that would be successful in the NBA. He also shared his thoughts on the new free throw rule that’s being tested in the G-League where one free throw counts for either two or three points depending on the foul.

Then we discussed the Utah Jazz’s promising young talent and what Jarrell Brantley, Miye Oni and Justin Wright-Foreman need to do to take their game to the next level.
