Salt Lake City Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect wanted for a homicide at a downtown parking garage early Saturday morning.

Francis Lee Ragsdale, 30, should be considered armed and dangerous, police said. He is 5 feet 9 inches, 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

According to police, a fight between two groups at the Wasted Space Bar at 342 S. Main carried over into a parking garage at 55 E. Exchange Place. On the lower level of the parking garage, several shots were fired; one man was struck by bullets; and the suspects fled in a vehicle. David Lawrence Burwell, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have been told that there may be cellphone video, taken by people who were not involved in the fight or the shooting, and they’re asking any witnesses to share their video with police.
