Weather: Mid-80s for Salt Lake City before returning to mid-90s

Temperatures in Salt Lake City will be in the mid-80s on Monday. Then the city will warm.

The high temperature will reach 90 degrees on Tuesday and hit the mid-90s on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. That same trend will hold for most of central and northern Utah.

St. George is expected to reach 102 degrees Monday, according to the National Weather Service, with steady increase until the city reaches 106 on Wednesday. St. George isn’t expected to return to double-digit high temperatures until Saturday.

One thing Utah children won’t see on their last week of summer recess: rain. As of Monday morning, the National Weather Service forecast has no prediction of rain anywhere in the state.
