Jazz release Salt Lake City Summer League schedule

(Courtesy of Utah Jazz) Games for the 2019 Salt Lake City Summer League (featuring the Jazz, Spurs, Grizzlies, and Cavaliers) will be played on a modified version of the Jazz's "City Edition" court. SLC Summer League games will take place July 1-3 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. MT at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

It’s a format that should be familiar to NBA fans by now in the NBA’s third-largest summer league: four NBA teams come to Utah, playing a round-robin tournament with two games in each of three days.

But now we know who will be playing when.

Monday, July 1

5 p.m. – San Antonio vs. Cleveland

7 p.m. – Memphis vs. Utah

Tuesday, July 2

5 p.m. – San Antonio vs. Memphis

7 p.m. – Cleveland vs. Utah

Wednesday, July 3

5 p.m. – Cleveland vs. Memphis

7 p.m. – San Antonio vs. Utah

On the tournament’s first day, the Jazz will face off with the Memphis Grizzlies, the team who owns the No. 2 pick and will likely pick Murray State’s dynamic point guard Ja Morant with it, according to reports.

Then, on July 2, the Jazz will play Cleveland, the owners of the No. 5 and No. 26 picks. Cleveland also could bring last year’s rookie point guard Collin Sexton to the game.

To wrap up the summer league, the Jazz will play the San Antonio Spurs, owners of the No. 19 and No. 29 picks on July 3. All three Jazz games will be played at 7 p.m.

Tickets are on sale at SLCSummerLeague.com, $9 for a one-day pass or $16 for a three-day pass.
