Neal Brown’s commitment to keeping in-state talent at home appears to be paying off. Zach Frazier, a 6’3”, 277lb lineman from Fairmont, gave his commitment to Brown and the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday, and announced his pledge publicly via Twitter on Thursday — West Virginia Day.

Frazier is ranked as a three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, with a 0.8316 rating. He’s currently listed as the third best recruit in the state — behind Bluefield’s Sean Martin and JJ Davis — and holds offers from Stanford, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Louisville. While the two-time First-Team All-State star is listed as a defensive tackle by the major recruiting services, the Mountaineer staff is recruiting him as an offensive center.
