A FIRE which spread from a shed to a home in Taunton late last night is believed to have been started deliberately.
Two fire engines from Taunton were called out to Bishops Hull just before midnight on Saturday, August 3 after reports of a shed on fire.
Upon arrival, the fire crews found that a shed, summer house, part of fence and a number of trees were well alight and started to tackle the blaze using hose reel jets and a thermal imagining camera.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire but the shed and summer house were both completely destroyed, and the fire had spread to the outside of a house, damaging the eaves and fascia boards.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue confirmed that the cause of the fire was believed to have been deliberate.
