OUTDOOR tennis at Blackbrook Leisure Centre are set to reopen today.

Everyone Active, which runs the centres on behalf of Somerset West and Taunton Council, has announced the courts will be open from Monday, May 18 (today), with new guidelines in place.

An update to customers said: "Following the Government update earlier this week, we’re pleased to inform you that the outdoor tennis courts at Blackbrook Leisure Centre & Spa will be reopening.

"We’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from customers while we’ve been closed, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you back on the courts.

"Please be aware, you must pre-book and pay for your session online prior to attending.

"Ensuring our customers and colleagues remain safe is our number one priority, so we’re implementing several measures to adhere to the Government’s social distancing guidelines.

"It is extremely important that we all still follow Government advice on social distancing and isolation. Please do not visit the courts if you are unwell or have been advised to stay at home."

Booking is available now, so to do so you can download and book through the Everyone Active app, or you can book your session via the website everyoneactive.com.
