THE identity of a man who died in an incident in which he was pulled from a burning car last week has been revealed.
An inquest on Wednesday confirmed that Jason Royland Carombayenin died at Back River Drive, Glastonbury, on Thursday, May 14.
The cause of the death of Mr Carombatenin, 40, of Queens Road, Street, has as yet not been ascertained during post mortem tests.
Tony Williams, senior Coroner for Somerset, told the hearing that further tests are being carried out.
The inquest was adjourned to a later date.
Mr Williams told the County Gazette: "Jason Carombayenin was found in a burning car, was removed from the car but was confirmed dead at the scene.
"Further statements and reports are being obtained with investigations ongoing."
Police say they are not treating Mr Carombayenin's death as suspicious.
