A family are urging the public to come forward with information after their food truck was stolen near McDonald's in Twerton.

Georgina, 24 from Bath, said her father's catering business, Twisted Indian Street Eats operates out of the food truck, and the business has been put on hold since the theft took place.

The food truck is a converted horsebox, which has been completely refurbished and given customised paintwork.

Georgina reported that it was stolen at 9.30pm on Wednesday 6 February by a bronze Honda HRV by the McDonald's on Lower Bristol Road.

She added "It's super sentimental to us, all of the renovations have been done by hand, and this is our livelihood.

"We have events coming up that we're already booked for, and we need the food truck back."

Twisted Indian Eats describes its food as "contemporary Asian street food with a twist". The trailer has been used for the past four years, and caters for events such as weddings and festivals.

The food truck also has distinctive green paintwork, with custom designs painted in white.
