She said: “We had just a few short minutes here but this was one of the best meals we had in England! Such great food! My husband was weary of it offering vegan dishes, etc but he was singing a different tune when we left! The food was so tasty and well-plated. We loved it!

With dishes such as a 'whole cauliflower cooked in various ways, almond milk croquetta and spelt in an almond emulsion', you can certainly expect gourmet vegan dining. 

The innovative and sophisticated menu is not the cheapest, with one course from the classic menu setting you back £21.

However, as a treat or on a special occasion, it is definitely worth the experience.

But Beyond the Kale isn’t just about the salad - from homemade falafel wraps and soups to organic juices and sweet treats, you will be spoilt for choice. 

This spot has a particularly popular breakfast menu, which includes a selection of options including porridge, açai bowls, and pancakes.

The restaurant offers the classic curries as well as street food and Indian Tapas.

There are also dedicated vegan and gluten free menus available, so everyone is well catered for.

The restaurant promises to take guests “on a journey of infusion, innovation and illicit flavours" through their extensive Northern and Southern Indian menu and it seems like they have kept to their word as the restaurant has received glowing reviews on TripAdvisor.

It opened last year and seems to be pulling out all the stops - the cafe has yet to receive a rating lower than 5 stars on TripAdvisor.

This stylish cafe is a great spot for a quiet bite to eat, offering breakfast, lunch, smoothies, speciality tea and coffee and delicious homemade baked goods.

"The food and drinks here are delicious, and the ladies who work here are so lovely.
