The hardest part of life is saying goodbye to a loved one.

But it is hugely important they are given a proper send off, to let people know of their passing, and also to tell people who they were and how important they were to their family.

Below is the list of notices of deaths and upcoming funerals that have been submitted to our newspapers over the last week.

Many are inviting loved ones to attend memorial services later in the year, once the coronavirus pandemic is over, while others are offering a way to donate to a charity in their memory.

Remembering every life

We want to make sure there's an opportunity for every life lost to be remembered properly.

At this time, many more of us are feeling the loss of a loved one, friend or someone in our lives.

And it may be more difficult than normal to say goodbye and pay our respects.

We're offering everyone the chance to pay tribute to someone they have lost.

You may want to let others know how important and special that person was to you.

Or you may wish to offer your support and condolences to others.

If you want to remember someone who has recently passed away contact newsdesk@westgaz.co.uk and mark your message Remembering Every Life.

We'll do our best to acknowledge every tribute in some way. If you do not wish to be contacted by a journalist about your tribute, please let us know.

There are other ways to find support, too.

Samaritans (116 123) operates a 24-hour service available every day of the year. If you prefer to write down how you’re feeling, or if you’re worried about being overheard on the phone, you can email Samaritans at jo@samaritans.org.
