Protesters from the Extinction Rebellion climate change movement have held a protest in a Yeovil park for the second Sunday running.

Activists from the group stood in Yeovil Country Park today (Sunday, May 17) as they called on the government to maintain the temporary lockdown changes introduced as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Those walking through the park would have seen signs that said 'bail out the people - not the polluters' and 'we can't breathe without trees - protect them' as part of the demonstration.

We are asking you to take part in our Great Big Parenting survey to show the world, politicians, fellow parents, just what life is like in lockdown.

We need you to give it to us straight - tell us what it’s really like, for you, the lockdown parent.

It comes one week after a similar protest took place and resulted in the police being called.

There are no reports of police having attended today's demonstration in the same location.
