A brand new cocktail bar opens in Yeovil today, offering a huge selection of 63 different gins.

Kiki Lounge opens its doors on Princes Street in the town centre.

Joint owner David Schatomski describes the colourful bar as "quirky" and is looking forward to welcoming its first guests this weekend.

He said: "We have 63 gins in total at the moment, but I'm sure that number will continue to grow over time.

"All the cocktails are made from scratch here at the bar, using raw ingredients. The head of our bar is a professional mixologist - he studied mixology in Liverpool before coming to work here.

"There are 40 different cocktails on our menu, but if you can't find anything you like, he would be more than happy to prepare something unique for you.

"We are trying to create a chilled experience, there will never be loud music here, we want it to be somewhere that you can come and talk to your friends and enjoy a cocktail."
