All traffic is currently being held on the M5 following a crash between the junctions for Taunton and Wellington this afternoon (June 7).
The northbound carriageway is at a standstill while Highways England officers work, according to INRIX traffic and travel information service.
Queues can already be seen to be building further along the busy motorway as rush hour looms.
Traffic officers are currently on the scene, Highways England has said on Twitter.
The incident has happened between exits 25 and 26.
