A man was attacked by three teenagers who pushed him to the floor and stole his mobile phone in a 'robbery incident' near Weston-super-Mare, according to police.

The incident happened in the car park of Worle Parkway train station at around 10.50pm on July 14.

The victim suffered scratches and bruises in the attack, and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "The victim was approached by three teenagers and pushed to the floor. They then took his mobile phone.

"One of the suspects – believed to be aged between 18-20 years was described as being of slim build with short blonde hair and wearing a light coloured top.

"We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have seen anything which could help our enquiries."
