A woman was relieved after police officers helped to reunite her with her "vulnerable" husband in the centre of Bath.

The pair had arranged to meet but the 72-year-old man failed to show up as they had planned, Avon and Somerset police said.

She approached an officer asking for help shortly after noon on February 21.

Thankfully, the man was then found on nearby Grand Parade.

In a statement, the police said: "An officer on patrol in High Street, Bath was approached by a woman concerned that her vulnerable 72-year-old husband had failed to meet her as arranged.
