A safe place was set up by police in Yeovil last night (June 14) as part of a 'drugs operation'.

Officers pitched up near to the The William Dampier pub on Middle Street and asked members of the public to come and talk to them about how safe they felt on a night out in the town.

Signs erected by the Avon and Somerset force indicated it was part of a 'drugs operation'.
