Yeovil Town Academy midfielder Hong Wan has signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 18-year-old was pictured at Molineux as he penned a professional deal with the Premier League club.

Although the move has not been officially confirmed by Wolves yet, Peter Lodge - the Charlton Athletic Academy goalkeeping coach - tweeted yesterday: "Great pride and extreme pleasure to see Hong Wan sign a 2 year Pro at Wolves.

"Without a doubt the best number four I have had the pleasure in developing. Keep working hard mate. Well done and good luck for the future."

Wan was previously on the Addicks' books. The tweet has since been deleted.

Yeovil Town are still looking for a new first-team manager and considering offers from "several interested parties" looking to buy a controlling stake in the club.

Current owners John Fry and Norman Hayward have had contact with several potential suitors but are still to make a decision on any of them.

In a statement, chairman Fry said: "Due to a non-disclosure agreement no comment can be made, but the club has several interested parties under consideration at the moment and we are progressing these."
