Katie Price will be performing her new single at a restaurant in Somerset tomorrow (Saturday, August 17).

The ex-glamour model, formerly known as Jordan, is making an appearance at the newly opened The Cricketers in Taunton.

Ms Price, 41, is teaming up with DJ Rick Live to sing the track Hurricane, as well as another song.

The duo will perform in a section of the pub where the pool table and darts board is.

A previous advert for the event indicates she will appear after 8.30pm, but a pub spokeswoman confirmed the set will be between 12am and 1am.

There will not be a meet and greet session between Ms Price and fans.

The event will be free to attend with "no tickets required", according to a notice board.

Ben Ofoedu from Phats & Small will also perform during the night.

A spokeswoman for the Stonegate Pub Company, who own The Cricketers, told Somerset Live: "Rick Live and Katie Price will be performing two songs 12am-1am.

"They will only be performing two songs and there will be no meet and greet."

The Cricketers, which took over the building which previously housed the Bierkeller on High Street, opened on August 3.

Described as a "warm and welcoming place", the traditional themed pub offers classic pub food, a range of drinks, large seating areas and a pool table area that can be turned into a dancefloor.

The High Street venue will regularly host live music and has a DJ every Saturday and Sunday night.

Ms Price found fame as a page 3 girl in The Sun newspaper in the late 1990s before turning to television, writing and music, among other things.

Her private life has been covered extensively, most notably her marriage to Australian singer Peter Andre.

The pair met on the hit television show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2005 before separating in 2009.

Ms Price previously entered the selection contest to be be the representative for the United Kingdom in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, in which she came runner-up.

Previous singles include A Whole New World and Free to Love Again.
