AS WINTER – hopefully – draws to a close, the Met Office is forecasting mild and sunny weather for the weekend ahead.
Much of the UK is in for dry and sunny weather over the next few days, as a large area of high pressure makes its way over the country.
And in Gwent, the Met Office is predicting a dry and sunny afternoon tomorrow (Friday), with temperatures reaching up to 13C and feeling even milder in the sunshine.
And while Saturday may be a cloudier affair, there is a very low chance of rainfall, meaning rugby fans travelling out for the Wales vs England match shouldn't get caught in any showers.

Temperatures could again reach double-digits on Sunday, when more sunshine is forecast, and Gwent should experience prolonged sunny spells on Monday and Tuesday.
There is a chance of some morning fog between Sunday and Monday, and the Met Office warned night-time temperatures would remain chilly over the weekend.
While Gwent is unlikely to experience record temperatures, parts of Wales could experience highs of 17C tomorrow.
The highest February temperature on record for Wales – 18.6C – was recorded in 1990.
