THERE is concern for the welfare of an elderly Newport woman who went missing this afternoon.

UPDATE 6.40PM: Gwent Police have confirmed Mrs Bunce has been found "safe and well".

Maureen 'Mary' Bunce is 88-years-old and was last seen at around 2.45pm on Friday, May 29 at her home in the Stow Hill area of Newport.

She is short, has white hair and was last seen wearing a cardigan and black trousers. She wears glasses and is thought to have her Zimmer frame with her.
Gwent Police are concerned for her welfare and anyone who sees her is asked to contact the force on 101 or through their social media channels and quote the reference 2000187398 or 290 29/05/20
