38,111 cases, 2,370 deaths from coronavirus in Ohio

There are 38,111 cases and 2,370 deaths from coronavirus in Ohio as of June 6, the Ohio Department of Health reported.

35,408 cases and 2,148 deaths are confirmed by the state. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,460 people have been hospitalized and 1,650 people have been admitted to an intensive care unit.

Gov. Mike DeWine will not address the state to discuss coronavirus. This week on Thursday, Gov. DeWine discussed reopening entertainment venues such as aquariums, art galleries, laser tag facilities, indoor movie theaters, outdoor playgrounds, skating rinks, trampoline parks and zoos. These venues will be permitted to reopen on June 10.
