A driver has called in police after a pedestrian was caught on camera hurling bricks at his passing car.

His dashcam has captured the moment that the missiles were thrown at his vehicle on Kempthorne Road, Joiners Square.

It records the thud of one brick hitting the side of his vehicle before a second brick is thrown at the front window as the driver turns around and tries to head towards Leek Road.

The drama unfolded on Sunday, May 12. His wife and young daughters were also in the car at the time.

Staffordshire Police  spokesman said: "We were called to a report of a brick being thrown at a car on Kempthorne Road. No-one was injured."
