A 17-year-old girl was raped in a graveyard in St Albans city centre at the weekend.
Police have received a report of a sexual assault outside St Peter's Church at around 3am on Saturday.
An area was cordoned off while the scene was investigated. The victim is receiving support from specialist officers in Hertfordshire Constabulary's Sexual Offence Investigation Team.
Two men, aged 39 and 37, have been arrested on suspicion of rape. They have been released on bail until Saturday, June 29, while investigations continue.
