A Tennessee man was chased and caught by Domino's employees in Horseheads after allegedly robbing the pizza restaurant Tuesday night, police said.

At about 10:20 p.m., officers responded to the Grand Central Avenue Domino's Pizza location of a reported robbery in progress, Horseheads police said.

The suspect, 54-year-old Darryl A. Howard, of Clarksville, Tennessee, is accused of grabbing money from the cash drawer and fleeing.

Police said Domino's employees chased after Howard as he left the store, and captured him on Catalpa Drive.

It's about a four-minute walk on foot from the Domino's to Catalpa Drive.

Howard was held by the Domino's employees until police arrived and took him into custody. Police said the cash was recovered.
