Two Austin men were arrested and charged for the rape of a 16-year-old girl at an apartment in northwest Austin Thursday, according to an arrest affidavit.

Police have identified the men as Christian Wayne Campbell, 21, and Melik Deshon Davis, 21.

On Thursday, a 16-year-old girl called police and reported she was raped by two men she had met through Instagram.

The victim told police she met the suspects for the first time in person when the picked her up from her high school in a red Chrysler sedan Thursday.

The victim told police she and the two men drove around the city and smoked marijuana until Davis had to drop Campbell off at his apartment, at 11015 Four Points Drive, #2106, the affidavit said. The victim entered the apartment with both men.

While inside, Campbell tried to kiss and touch the victim and she rejected his advances. Campbell then grabbed her wrist and squeezed it tightly and told her to stand up and she did. The victim told police Campbell then bent her over a couch and both men took turns holding her down and raping her, the affidavit said.

Afterward, Davis drove the victim to a gas station and told her he would drive her back to school but he drove away once she entered the store, with her backpack and other belongings still in the car. The victim then used the store phone to call 911.

Campbell and Davis were charged with sexual assault of a child. They were booked at the Travis County Jail with each of their bonds set at $150,000.
