"Mamma Mia!"

What: A musical set in Greece following a young bride-to-be who is trying to figure out which of three men from her mother's past is her father, featuring ABBA's hit songs.

Pentacle Theatre's production of "Mamma Mia!" will run from March 1-23.

When: Runs from March 1 to March 23

National Read Across America Day is an annual event celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by instilling a love of reading in youth.

What: Gilbert House is participating in this annual event celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by instilling a love of reading in youth with Dr. Seuss-themed crafts and activities, as well as character appearances; dressing up as a Dr. Seuss character is encouraged.

When: 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 1-3
