"Avenue Q"
What: This adult-only, politically incorrect show starring puppets and humans that explores what happens when “Sesame Street meets South Park."
When: Opens 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 22; 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sundays through April 14

90-Second Newbery Film Festival
What: The annual video contest in which kid filmmakers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery award-winning books in about 90 seconds.
When: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 22

Wine, Pear & Cheese Jubilee
What: This annual event features "pear-ings" of a wine flight, including our 2018 Estate Rosé of Pinot Noir, with latest releases with small bites of Northwest pears and artisan cheeses.
When: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24
Location: Willamette Valley Vineyards, 8800 Enchanted Way SE, Turner
Cost: $20, $10 for Wine Club members, owners and their guests

CCT presents: Ken Hamlett
What: Tacoma native Ken Hamlett is a stand-up comedian and published comedy writer who combines wit with a powerful stage presence.

14th Anniversary Show
What: West Coast Wrestling Connection Professional Wrestling returns to Salem for a 14th Anniversary event.
When: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 24

Cost: $15 for adults, $6 for seniors, students and military with valid ID, children younger than 5 are free with paying adult; discounts for presale tickets
