One injured in Woodburn shooting, police investigating

Woodburn police are investigating a Friday shooting that left one person injured.

Police are asking the public for any information on the incident, which happened in the area of Yew and North 2nd streets.

Police received a call reporting shots fired in the area Friday morning about 1:30 a.m. After they responded to the first call, a second call came in about a shooting, according to the Woodburn Police Department.

The two ended up being the same.

Officers went to the 1000 block of North Pacific Highway, where they found a vehicle that had been involved in the North 2nd Street shooting.

One person was reported to have suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting. Authorities did not identify the victim.
