Mid-Willamette Valley school closures, delays for Monday, February 25

The following closures and delays have been set:

School closures:

Salem-Keizer School District: Due to inclement weather, all SKPS classes are canceled and schools are closed. District administrative offices will open at 10 a.m.

Amity Sch. Dist.: Closed

Cascade School District: Closed

Central 13j Sch. Dist. : Closed. Do to continued condition concerns, we are closing.

Community Action Head Start - Marion/Polk: All Salem, Dallas, Independence, Woodburn, and Cascade Head Start and Early Head Start Sites are closed. MWVCAA Office Open at 11:00.

Corvallis Sch. Dist.: Schools and District are closed. Afternoon and evening events are canceled.

Crosshill Christian (Turner/Keizer): Closed

Dallas Sch. Dist.: Closed

Falls City Sch. Dist.: Closed

Family Building Blocks: Classes canceled. Staff report at 12:00

Greater Albany Sch. Dist.: Closed.

Institute of Technology (Salem): Closed

Jefferson Sch. Dist.: Closed. Jefferson School District will be closed today including all events.

Lebanon Community Schools: Closed

Linn-Benton Community College: Closed

McMinnville Sch. Dist.: Closed

Mid-Valley Literacy Center: Closed

North Santiam School District (Stayton): Closed

Perrydale Sch. Dist.: Closed. No afternoon activities

Salem Academy: Closed. No childcare or athletic activities.

Salem Catholic Schools: Closed

Santiam Canyon Sch. Dist.: Closed

Scio Sch. Dist.: Closed

Sheridan Sch. Dist.: Closed

Sonshine Christian School - Salem: School and Daycare Closed

Sweet Home Sch. Dist.: Closed

Western Christian School: Closed

Western Oregon University: Closed.

Willamette ESD: Marion Center - Closed, Yamhill Center - Closed, Polk Center - 2 Hour Delay

Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks): Closed, No preschool

Willamina Sch. Dist.: Closed

Yamhill Carlton Sch. Dist.: Closed

Road closures:Heavy snow closes highways across Oregon, including Santiam and Willamette passes

School delays:

Chemeketa Comm. College: Opening at 10 am. All Chemeketa locations open at 10:00AM for staff and students.

Corban University: Opening at 11 am

Falls City School District: 2 Hours Late, No preschool, AM/PM Buses on snow routes

George Fox Univ.: Newberg, Salem and Portland sites open at 10 a.m. We are monitoring conditions.

Gervais Sch. Dist.: 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool. Daycare 2 hour delay

Molalla River Sch. Dist.: 2 Hours Late. All buses on snow routes. Route 9 Option D

Mt. Angel Sch. Dist.: 2 Hours Late

Oregon State University: The Corvallis campus will delay opening until 12 p.m.

Oregon Tech - Wilsonville: Delayed opening at 10am

Silver Falls Sch. Dist.: 2 Hours Late, AM/PM Buses on snow routes. Early release schedule is canceled. Silver Crest, Scotts Mills and Victor Point Schools only -- closed.

Woodburn Sch. Dist.: 2 Hours Late
